Here is the fine print of what we cover in the first two FREE days:

What is NLP

The first challenge is to debug the term itself! What does this confounded name actually mean? We will share the most popular definitions and explain the varied approaches they suggest. We also tell you what NLP is not all about, from our own unique perspective and share the high level of standards and ethics we ascribe to through our accreditation with INLPTA.

The History of NLP

A fine saga, often in the soap opera tradition! We go right back to the roots, the founders themselves and even further back to the great minds that inspired them – Bateson, Korzybski and Chomsky. We also cover the modern era with all its warts and fill you in on the two competing approaches to NLP training so that you can make an informed choice for the way ahead.

Sensory Perception

Delve into the fascinating world of sensory perception. How is your “reality” shaped by your five senses? How does this differ to other people? What impact does this difference have on your life and the relationships you build? Included are a sensory quiz and great exercises to test your sensory awareness.

An Introduction to Human Psychology

NLP draws its approach to psychology and human behaviour from a wide field. We will introduce you to the first five presuppositions of NLP – the bedrock of the methodology and its scientific basis. These are profound insights into behaviour that will change the way you understand what other do - kids, bosses, partners - through a fundamentally positive outlook.

Rapport

What is rapport? What are those individuals doing that makes them so good at it? We will clearly demonstrate what is going on in your conscious mind when you build rapport and then, even more startling, we’ll share with you what is going at an unconscious level! We will demonstrate our claims through fascinating exercises on words, tonality and physiology in rapport.

Body Language

Following on from our section on rapport we delve deeper into non-verbal communication, allowing you to track for cues as to what others are thinking by watching how they behave. Calibrating internal emotional state from external cues is a core skill as is tracking eye movements to establish how others are representing reality in their minds.

Well-Formed Outcomes

This is an elementary introduction to life coaching, the first step towards creating an inspiring future. NLP has a primary focus on outcomes rather than problems, on solutions rather than blame, on positive thinking rather than limiting thoughts. This comprehensive tool will enable you to step right into coaching yourself and others to achieve their future goals.

That’s what you get in two days for FREE.

Here’s what we add for HALF the price of a standard INLPTA Diploma in the final two days:

The Human Brain

One great book on NLP is titled “The User’s Manual for the Brain”. It’s also my favourite definition of NLP. Did you know that 95% of what we know about the internal workings of the brain we learnt in the last 10 years! Understanding how the brain works brings everything under the banner of NLP together giving structure to the magic of the patterns.

NLP Communication Model

Linked to our understanding of the brain we now get an insight into how your personality is constructed from birth. What are “false” memories? What are limiting beliefs? Why is some people’s reality so distorted in our view? How does language actually provide a window into the soul? This is a simple but profound model on the construction of individual reality.

Level 2 on Human Psychology

We offer you another five presuppositions of NLP to add to the introduction on the first day. The focus is hands-on as we explore what these scientific assumptions actually mean in relating to others. We will share real life scenarios which you will explore in group work to embed the learning and shift the way you approach behaviour at a fundamental level.

The New Behaviour Generator

Based on the science of visualisation this pattern uses the NLP tool of perceptual positions to train the brain to undertake a whole new behaviour. Loads of students have achieved their goals through this pattern in the classroom, from running that marathon to losing weight to finding a dream relationship. Perceptual positions were part of Gandhi’s success and we’ll show you why.

Anchoring

Pavlovian conditioning is a cornerstone to understanding NLP strategy elicitation and modelling work. It is also the bread and butter of all advertising. Anchors are a pure genius adaption of the mind that manages most of our behaviours. They are the pathway to emotions, good and bad. We include both basic positive emotional anchors and collapsing negative anchors.

Personality Profiling

At Master Practitioner level of NLP we delve in great depth into human personalities. This has fascinated us for thousands of years and still does through a variety of approaches including astrology, MBTI and the oldest typology tool of all, the Enneagram. We will introduce you to NLP’s own typology tool, the meta programs, including time and chunk size.

An Introduction to Timelines and Submodalities

Here is a taster of things to come at Practitioner level, arguably two of NLP’s most powerful techniques. We will introduce you to the concept of a timeline through practical demonstration of your own timeline and then introduce you to the power of sensory submodalities to shift your perception on both past events and the ability to create a compelling future.

Please note that this INLPTA Diploma course is an entry requirement for the full NLP 12 day Practitioner course, should you wish to study further with us.
